This statement is about the Callisham Farm website (www.callisham.co.uk). For information about physical access to the farm itself, see our Access Statement.
How accessible this site is
We want anyone who's interested in staying with us to be able to use this site, whatever device or assistive technology they use. We've aimed at WCAG 2.2 Level AA. In particular:
- Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or function.
- Navigation works with keyboard alone, with a visible focus ring.
- Images that carry meaning have alternative text; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Colour is not the only way we convey information, and text meets a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 against its background.
- The site works with the most recent versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari, including on mobile.
Known issues
We're a small family business and some parts of the site may not yet be perfect. Known limitations at the time of publishing:
- The embedded map on our Location page is provided by OpenStreetMap and isn't fully navigable by keyboard — written directions are provided alongside as an accessible alternative.
- Some older image filenames may not have been re-captioned yet.
If you spot something else we've missed, please let us know.

How we tested this site
The site was tested during build with a combination of automated tools (browser developer tools, Lighthouse) and manual keyboard and screen-reader spot-checks. We'll re-test each time we add new content or redesign a page.
